At Came To Believe Recovery Inc., we are dedicated to supporting the highest quality recovery retreat experience possible for both the family and those addicted to drugs and alcohol. All of the 30+ Came to Believe retreats that currently exist throughout the world are independently run enterprises that were formed in response to the need to continue carrying the AA message, just as the AA founders did. Running a successful retreat requires a great deal of planning and organization.
At Came to Believe Recovery Inc. we hope to be an added value service to the independent retreat leader through our marketing and organizational initiatives, enabling the retreat leader to focus more fully on reaching those that are in need of a 12 step recovery message.

Our first Came to Believe retreat at Buckfast Abbey was in 1993. This is a report from Gerry Jones about his experience at the retreat in 2006:
"After two years in other facilities at Buckfast Abbey, in 2006 the retreat moved back into the Grangehurst facilities at Buckfast. This allowed more people to attend the retreats and numbers have increased from thirty to fifty people. Grangehurst has a perfect atmosphere to hold a retreat, it's very quiet and peaceful with fantastic surroundings and views."Find out more »
